During the past term, the Long Khanh Ward Fatherland Front upheld its role in fostering great national unity, actively promoting patriotic emulation movements and broad-based campaigns that gained strong public support. In coordination with its member organizations, the Front mobilized contributions from people of all walks of life, organizations, individuals, and businesses to the “For the Poor” Fund and directly supported social welfare programs to help disadvantaged households rise out of poverty and achieve sustainable livelihoods.

More than VND 34 billion (approximately USD 1.3 million) was mobilized in community contributions. Of this, over VND 3.5 billion was raised for the “For the Poor” Fund; more than VND 2.1 billion was allocated for humanitarian aid and emergency assistance; and over VND 30.5 billion was used to provide capital support for sustainable poverty reduction and to implement community-based social welfare programs.

Activities of the ward-level Fatherland Front and its member organizations have continued to innovate and deliver tangible results, reinforcing their role within the political system and contributing to the ward’s annual socio-economic development and security objectives.

Speaking at the congress, Nguyen Tan Phu, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai Province, commended the ward-level Front’s notable achievements over the past term. He emphasized that in the time ahead, continued innovation in public outreach and mobilization efforts must be regarded as a core task, crucial to strengthening the great national unity bloc at the grassroots level. He particularly stressed the need to build and enhance the effectiveness of residential-area Front working groups, noting that each Front cadre must be reputable, skilled in mobilization, and deeply embody the motto: “respect the people, stay close to the people, understand the people, learn from the people, and be accountable to the people.”

Long Khanh Ward’s first congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front elected 69 members to its 2025–2030 committee, with seven seats left vacant. At its first session, the committee selected its standing board and key positions, re-electing Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy as Chairwoman for the new term. The congress also nominated two delegates to attend the first provincial-level Fatherland Front congress in Dong Nai for the 2025–2030 term.

Over the past term, the Cam My Commune Fatherland Front Committee has played a key role in strengthening grassroots solidarity and advancing patriotic movements. The commune mobilized nearly VND 800 million and distributed over 300,000 relief packages worth close to VND 12 billion. In addition, over VND 900 million was invested to build or repair 12 charity and solidarity houses, enabling many families to lift themselves out of poverty and rebuild stable lives.

The “All-People Solidarity” campaign for building new rural areas and a civilized urban community has produced concrete outcomes. All hamlets in the commune now carry the “Cultural Hamlet” designation, more than 98% of households qualify as “Cultural Families,” and 16 modern cultural centers serve as hubs for community life and social cohesion.

For the 2025–2030 term, the Cam My Commune Fatherland Front has pledged to modernize its operations and strengthen grassroots unity. Its priorities include enhancing the quality of oversight and social feedback, and leveraging digital technologies to capture and respond swiftly to public opinion.
