Dong Nai reviews preparations for DIGIFEST 2026

On the afternoon of October 7, Le Truong Son, Member of the Standing Board of the Dong Nai City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee, chaired a meeting with the National Digital Transformation Authority under the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Institute of Innovation and Digital Transformation under the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA), and relevant departments and agencies to hear a progress report on preparations for DIGIFEST Dong Nai 2026.

The meeting was held both in person and via videoconference with relevant agencies.

DIGIFEST Dong Nai 2026 is scheduled to take place over three days, from October 30 to November 1, at the Dong Nai Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center in Tan Trieu Ward. The event is intended to celebrate National Innovation Day (October 1) and National Digital Transformation Day (October 10), while contributing to the effective implementation of Politburo Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW in Dong Nai City.

The main activities are expected to include a technology exhibition featuring more than 200 booths showcasing shared digital platforms, as well as an exhibition area highlighting achievements in science and technology, innovation and digital transformation, along with outstanding local products under the One Commune One Product (OCOP) Program. The event will also feature a high-level digital transformation forum and thematic seminars.

At the meeting, representatives of relevant agencies and departments discussed preparations for the event’s design and visual identity, exhibition spaces and related activities, as well as the content and themes of the seminars.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee Le Truong Son emphasized that relevant agencies and departments should proactively review and reach consensus on all event-related content and activities. Particular attention should be paid to matters to be reported to the city’s Steering Committee for the Development of Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation. The organizing unit should also arrange exhibition spaces and activities in a scientific, appropriate and aesthetically pleasing manner. Close coordination with relevant agencies is required to ensure proper organization, reception of guests, and appropriate participation in the seminars and forums.

The city leader also called on relevant agencies and departments to improve communications and promote the event’s overarching message and theme in line with Dong Nai’s development orientation and strengths in advancing science and technology, innovation and digital transformation. Particular emphasis should be placed on issues related to Politburo Resolution No. 16-NQ/TW on the construction and development of Dong Nai City through 2035, with a vision to 2065.
