Activities to mark the 2009 Mid Autumn

(ĐN)- On the occasion of the Mid-Autumn, Department of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs in cooperation with the provincial Children’s House, Dong Nai Newspaper and localities sent delegations to visit and present gifts to 2,900 children with difficult circumstances in Tan Phu, Dinh Quan, Thong Nhat, Cam My, Vinh Cuu and Nhon Trach districts.

(ĐN)- On the occasion of the Mid-Autumn, Department of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs in cooperation with the provincial Children’s House, Dong Nai Newspaper and localities sent delegations to visit and present gifts to 2,900 children with difficult circumstances in Tan Phu, Dinh Quan, Thong Nhat, Cam My, Vinh Cuu and Nhon Trach districts. The gifts, worth a total of nearly VND60 million, came from the provincial budget and Bibica company.

* In Bien Hoa city, Dong Nai Newspaper coordinated with the provincial Youth Union and MegaStar Bien Hoa to organize free film shows and offer 120 Mid-Autumn gifts valued at 150,000 each to local poor children.

* At Nhon Trach district, Mid-Autumn Festival will be celebrated with a lantern parade, lion dance, cultural performances. The event was geared toward more than 1,000 children from poor families. At the ceremony, 300 gifts were given to children.
