(ĐN)- On Sept 30, Dong Nai Young Entrepreneurs’ Association, Trade Promotion Centre in coordination with ITS Human Resource Training Company opened a Kaizen-5S training course for representatives of around 100 local enterprises.
Kaizen is a Japanese tradition which is now used internationally, modified by each culture to best suit their own business environments. Kaizen, means “continuous improvement”, with the focus aims to small improvement which happens step by step. At its most basic, the concept of kaizen is one of restructuring and organizing every aspect of a system to ensure it remains at peak efficiency.
5S includes some guides about organizing workplace to arrange place of workers and optimum work effective: Sort, Straighten/Set in order, Scrub/Shine, Stabilize/Standardize and Sustain.
During the course, the participants were not only provided latest technology on how to benefit from making and keeping improvement in factory, but also were guided to analyze errors occurring in production line to reduce cost in manufacturing.
The programme is being looked forward to be conducted more regularly in future to create opportunities for local enterprises improve their competitiveness.
