(ĐN)- Dong Nai branch of Vietcombank hit total mobilized capital of over VND 2,246 billion in the first half of this year, up 19% compared to the end of last year. Particularly, deposits from individuals achieved VND 600 billion, an increase of 21%. Until the end of June, the branch’s loan turnover reached VND4,444 billion, up 26% while total credit balance was more than VND 3,870 billion, up 8% against the end of 2005.
In 2006, the international payment volume was higher than in 2005 with import and export payment of totaling US$600 million, up 26%. The revenue from foreign currency exchange stood at US$500 million, 31.9 % higher than that of last year. More diversified banking products and services have been introduced by the bank in the past time to meet various customers’ needs.
In July of this year, Dong Nai branch of Vietcombank has put into operation two new transaction offices in Trang Bom district and Long Khanh town.
