(ĐN)- Although facing many difficulties such as mouth-and-foot-disease and unfavourable weather conditions, Dong Nai province’s agriculture - forestry - fishery sector has achieved high growth rate in the first half of this year. Accordingly, the sector reached production value of more than 2,015 billion, grew at 4.42% compared to the same period of last year. Especially, agriculture grew at 3.34% to VND1,760 billion, forestry at 45.5 % to VND44.3 billion and fishery at 7.4% to VND211 billion.
However, 9,751 hectares of winter-spring crops in some districts of Dong Nai province has been affected by Ray Nau (brown plant hoppers) epidemic, yellow snail epidemic and others because this year’s rainy season is longer than usual. This has caused damages to farmers in districts of
