At the ceremony, DNGH announced decisions on its reorganization and the establishment of the Otorhinolaryngology Center, as well as appointments to the center's Board of Directors. Specialist Level II Doctor Dang Ha Huu Phuoc, Deputy Director of DNGH, was appointed Director of the Otorhinolaryngology Center, while Specialist Level I Doctor Bui Van Chung was appointed Deputy Director.

Do Thi Nguyen, Director of the Dong Nai DoH, emphasized that approximately 4,000 Dong Nai residents have to be referred to higher-level hospitals each year for specialized otorhinolaryngology treatment. The Otorhinolaryngology Center at DNGH is the first specialized medical center in Dong Nai City. The center's opening marks an important milestone in the development of medical expertise and technical capabilities at DNGH in particular and Dong Nai City as a whole. The ultimate goal is to enable local residents to access specialized medical techniques within Dong Nai, thereby reducing referrals to higher-level hospitals and lowering treatment and travel costs. This will also contribute to making DNGH a trusted healthcare destination for local residents.

The Director of the DoH thanked the leaders of the Dong Nai City Party Committee and the City People's Committee for their attention and close guidance, as well as the Board of Directors and experts from the National Otorhinolaryngology Hospital for their dedicated support and assistance. She also instructed the Otorhinolaryngology Center to make effective use of its existing resources, prioritize the training and development of highly skilled medical personnel, gradually master specialized medical techniques, and strengthen cooperation with national-level hospitals in training and technology transfer to improve local treatment capacity.
