Speaking during the on-site inspection, Nguyen Van Ut, Deputy Secretary of the Dong Nai CPC and Chairman of the City People’s Committee, requested that for Component Project 1 of the Bien Hoa–Vung Tau Expressway, the project investor, contractors, and relevant units must accelerate construction progress to complete all project items and necessary procedures in order to open the route to traffic before May 18. In particular, contractors must mobilize maximum human and material resources and increase construction shifts and crews to complete the remaining items, ensuring the project is opened to traffic on schedule as required.

Regarding the issue of the safety clearance between the 110kV high-voltage power line and the road surface of the Bien Hoa–Vung Tau Expressway at Km5+260, leaders of the City People’s Committee assessed that coordination between the Department of Industry and Trade and the City Land Fund Development Center in carrying out the vertical clearance of the power line at this location has been ineffective, with implementation progress remaining slow. Therefore, the two units must urgently raise the clearance of the high-voltage power line at the above-mentioned location to ensure safety upon opening the project to traffic.

For the 25C Road construction project, specifically the section from National Highway 51 to Communal Road 19, the site has been substantially handed over. Therefore, Nguyen Van Ut, Chairman of the City People’s Committee, requested the project investor and construction unit to accelerate construction to ensure the project is completed in June 2026 as committed.

According to the City Construction Investment Project Management Board, Component Project 1 of the Bien Hoa–Vung Tau Expressway is approximately 16km long, passing through five wards and communes in Dong Nai City, including Phuoc Tan, Tam Phuoc, Binh An, Long Thanh, and An Phuoc. To date, the project's total implemented value has exceeded 2.2 trillion VND, equivalent to 90% of the signed contract value. In addition to directing contractors to accelerate construction and complete the remaining items, the board is also developing a traffic organization plan and requesting competent authorities to carry out acceptance procedures and finalize procedures for opening the expressway to traffic.
