Trung Vuong Primary School raises over 100 million VND for seriously ill student

Upholding the spirit of “the good leaf covers the torn ones”, the Management Board of Trung Vuong Primary School (Dinh Quan commune, Dong Nai province) has organized a fundraising campaign to support a student facing a serious illness and extreme financial hardship.

Staff, teachers, parents, and students of Trung Vuong Primary School join hands to contribute to the campaign.

Nguyen Lan Chi, a student in Class 5.4 of the school, is currently undergoing treatment for a serious illness and requires financial support to continue her medical care. After five days of fundraising from April 16 to 20, during the school’s flag-raising ceremony on the morning of April 20, the entire school community, including staff, teachers, parents, and students, came together to raise nearly 104 million VND.

The entire amount will be handed directly to the student’s family. This support is not only a practical contribution to helping the family cover treatment costs, but also a source of moral encouragement, giving the student added strength to overcome the illness and soon return to school with teachers and classmates.
