Chon Thanh Ward is currently assigned by the Dong Nai City People’s Committee to manage three relic sites, including the special national historical relic marking the ending point of the Ho Chi Minh Trail - 1973, part of the the Truong Son Trail – the Ho Chi Minh Trail. The site bear witness to the victories and sacrifices of Truong Son soldiers, youth volunteers and frontline civilian workers between 1973 and 1975, who helped open routes and strengthen support for the Southern battlefield.
Another notable site is Hung Long communal house, a provincial-level (now the city-level) relic in Chon Thanh Ward. With its history spanning nearly 200 years, the communal house plays an important role in the local community’s religious and spiritual life. The communal house maintains traditional festivals annually, including the Mountain-Opening Ceremony on the seventh day of the first lunar month; the Ky Yen Festival on the 15th and 16th days of the second lunar month; the Cau Bong Festival of the Kinh people, recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage, on the 16th day of the sixth lunar month; and the Deity Procession from the 25th to the 30th days of the final lunar month. These occasions allow residents to preserve traditional customs while introducing local cultural heritage to visitors from near and far.
The locality is also home to the Railway Bridge, which is included in the inventory of historical sites.
Chon Thanh Ward currently has 35 accommodation establishments, including guesthouses and hotels, with an estimated combined capacity of around 350 clients.
