Tens of thousands of workers’ children celebrate 2026 Mid-Autumn Festival

On the occasion of the 2026 Mid-Autumn Festival, trade unions at many businesses have organized celebrations for union members, workers and their children. The programs have not only brought joy to children but also helped strengthen workers’ trust in and attachment to trade unions and businesses, contributing to a stable and sustainable working environment.

The grassroots Trade Union of Freewell Co., Ltd. at Bac Dong Phu Industrial Park organized a “Full-Moon Festival Night” and “Supporting students to go to school” program for the children of union members and workers employed by the company.

At the festival night, children took part in a range of fun and lively activities and enjoyed the Mid-Autumn Festival in a joyful and warm atmosphere. On the occasion, the company’s Trade Union presented 20 study promotion gifts to disadvantaged union members’ children who had made efforts to achieve good academic results. The practical gifts encouraged the children to continue behaving well, studying hard and striving for good achievements in the new school year.

At Dona Pacific Vietnam Co., Ltd. in Binh Minh Commune, the “Full-Moon Festival Night” attracted 7,500 workers and children. During the event, workers’ children enjoyed a food area, took part in traditional games with prizes and received gifts. Earlier, the company’s trade union had presented mooncakes to union members and workers.

Similarly, the grassroots Trade Union of Dona Victor Footwear Co., Ltd. in Binh Minh Commune organized a Mid-Autumn Festival celebration with the participation of 5,000 union members, workers and their children.

At the event, workers’ families and their children enjoyed lion dances, received gifts, took part in exchanges and games with prizes, joined a star-lantern procession and watched a variety of special cultural performances. The annual program, organized by the company and its trade union, provides a meaningful recreational space for workers’ children during the 2026 Mid-Autumn Festival.

At Pou Phong Vietnam Co., Ltd. in An Vien Commune, the trade union sent a delegation to visit 19 children of workers who were facing difficult circumstances and suffering from illnesses. During the visits, trade union officials inquired about the children’s health, studies and daily lives, while sharing the difficulties faced by their families. The Mid-Autumn gifts delivered directly to the children provided not only material support but also encouragement, demonstrating the trade union’s care and solidarity with the children of union members and workers facing difficult circumstances.
