Trade union of Dong Nai-based company spends over 5 bil VND to give gifts to workers on occasion of April 30 holiday

(ĐN) - On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30) and the Month of Workers in 2025, the trade union of Pou Sung Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Trang Bom District) has just spent over 5 billion VND to give gifts to over 17,000 workers.  

The gift-giving activities started on April 15, with each gift package including essential items such as cooking oil, sugar, etc. In addition, the union coordinated with businesses to sell items at stabilized prices or lower than market prices to support workers in shopping within their budget and income.  

Le Nhat Truong, Chairman of the Pou Sung trade union, said that every year during holidays and Tet, the union organizes gift-giving for all workers with the hope of improving the material life of union members and workers. This year is particularly special as it coincides with the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification, so the union organized early gift-giving to create joy for the workers.
