(ĐN) - The Department of Home Affairs reported that since the beginning of 2025, there have been nearly 500 businesses registered for recruitment in the province, with a demand for more than 24,000 workers.

These businesses are hiring for many job positions, the majority of which are unskilled labor.
A vibrant labor market is a positive signal for workers, especially unemployed individuals, to quickly find new jobs. However, the number of employees that businesses can recruit is very low, only achieving about 20-30% of the demand. Although the Dong Nai Employment Service Centre has organized direct job exchange sessions and connected online with 13 provinces in the Southwestern region and Central Highlands, the results are still not promising.
According to the Department of Home Affairs, recently, businesses have partnered with the Dong Nai Employment Service Centre and supply units to arrange personnel to directly recruit in many localities. However, through monitoring and reports from businesses, the number of recruits remains very limited. The reason is that currently all provinces have industrial zones and export processing zones, so workers choose to return to their hometowns to work.
To overcome recruitment difficulties and retain workers, businesses need to effectively implement social security policies and provide good salary and bonus regimes to keep skilled labor.
