$3.4b suggested for Thu Thiem - Long Thanh railway

(ĐN)- Ho Chi Minh city has sent an official request to the Ministry of Construction (MoC), proposing nearly USD 3.4 billion in central government funding for the Thu Thiem - Long Thanh railway project, which will connect Tan Son Nhat and Long Thanh international airports.

The project has been designated a national railway line under current planning and falls under the investment responsibility of the MoC.

The city has urged the MoC to promptly complete the planning adjustment documentation to accelerate the implementation of the Thu Thiem - Long Thanh railway project.
