Presenting Tet gifts to poor people

(ĐN)- On the occasion of Lunar New Year 2010, Dong Nai Construction Association sent a delegation to visit and present 365 Tet gifts to poor households in Phu Ngoc and Dac Lua communes in Dinh Quan and Tan Phu districts. The gifts worth a total of more than VND100 million, contributed by the association’s members.

Presenting Tet gifts to poor ethnic minority people in Dinh Quan district

Earlier, a delegation from Dong Nai Customs Bureau visited and gave Tet gifts to poor ethnic minority people in Dinh Quan district’s La Nga and Tuc Trung communes and Vinh Cuu district’s Phu Ly commune. On this occasion, the delegation offered gifts to Vietnamese heroic mothers, revolutionary martyr’s parents and centre for orphan and disabled children.

A ceremony was held in Buu Long ward by Metro Cash and Carry Vietnam to present 800 Tet gifts valued at VND380,000 each to poor families in the province.

On Feb. 1, TMT Auto Joint Stock Company in cooperation with Xuan Thuy Loc Phat company, a sole agent of TMT in Dong Nai, donated VND45 million to the provincial Fund for the Poor. This is the company’s annual charity activity to help the poor have a happy Lunar New Year.
