(ĐN)- Leaders of the provincial Party Committee and the provincial Peoples Committee of Dong Nai on January 27 had a meeting with representatives of press agencies from Dong Nai province, Ho Chi Minh city, the Southeast region and the South of Vietnam.

At the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Vo Van Mot praised the contributions made by press agencies to the province’s social-economic development over the past years as well as disseminating Party and the State policies and guidelines to people. He also called on journalists and reporters to make further contributions to the province’s development.
Earlier, the provincial Peoples Committee had held a press conference to announce Dong Nai’s socio-economic status in 2009 and the tasks for 2010. At the meeting, the provincial Peoples Committee awarded certificates of merit to 8 collectives, 4 groups of journalists and 5 individuals for their contributions to the province’s development. Among the recipients, there were also reporter Thanh Thuy and a group of journalists from Dong Nai Newspaper.
