(ĐN)- Dong Nai Children Sponsor Fund recently held a meeting to review its performance in 2009. The Fund announced that VND 5.3 billion was raised over the past year. Of the total, VND 3.45 billion went to the fund and the rest of the money was sent directly to children who were in need of help.
Especially, the Fund has spent about VND 4 billion for providing free heart check-ups to 180 poor children across the province and offering free heart operations for 77 of them .
