(ĐN)- During the past five years, Thong Nhat district has made many efforts to encourage all to join the campaign to eradicate temporary houses for the poor. Accordingly, more than VND6.6 billion was contributed in the past years to construct 616 charity houses for the poor.
In the first six months of the year, the district’s Fund for the Poor mobilized VND251 million from organizations and individuals to build and hand over 14 charity houses to poor households in Hung Loc, Bau Ham 2, Quang Trung, Xuan Thanh communes.
