(ĐN)- Recently, 23 houses under the programme No.134 have been handed over to poor ethnic minority households in Trang Bom district’s Song Thao commune. The spacious houses are built with a total cost of over VND621 million, of which the state budget donated VND483 million, the rest financed by the provincial Fatherland Front Committee’s Fund for the Poor and the district’s fund. Each house has an area of 37 sq.m.
On January 2, a ceremony was held to hand over a charity house to the family of Mr. Thang A Sau in Long Khanh town’s Xuan Thanh ward. The house is built on an area of 40 sq.m with a cost of VND24 million. This is the first house under the programme No.134 that the town’s People Committee presented to poor ethnic minority households in 2009.
