(ĐN)- The 2008 Southeastern region art photo contest entitled “Mien Dong hoi nhap va phat trien” (The integration and development processes in the Southeastern region) attracted 721 works of 186 photographers from eight southeastern provinces, Ba Ria – Vung Tau, Lam Dong, Dong Nai Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Binh Thuan, Ninh Thuan and Tay Ninh.
(ĐN)- The 2008 Southeastern region art photo contest entitled “Mien Dong hoi nhap va phat trien” (The integration and development processes in the Southeastern region) attracted 721 works of 186 photographers from eight southeastern provinces, Ba Ria – Vung Tau, Lam Dong, Dong Nai Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Binh Thuan, Ninh Thuan and Tay Ninh. The contest was launched in July by the Vietnam Artistic Photographers Association.
Sixteen photographs won prizes at the 2008 Southeastern region art photo contest. A photo entitled “Uom mam rau sach” taken by photographer Chau Sang from Tay Ninh won Gold Medal. Sliver Medals were awarded to a photo “So che nuoc mam” by Tran Van Canh from Ninh Thuan and a photo “Niem vui” by Nguyen Van Bien from Ninh Thuan and one “Suong som Dai Ninh” by Ly Hoang Long from Lam Dong, while the Bronze medals went to a photo “Cong nghiep nang” by Hu Cuong from Dong Nai, a photo “Mua pho” by Vu Duy Thong from Dong Nai, a photo “Nuong tra xanh” by Nguyen Van Thuong from Lam Dong and a photo “On bai” by Truong An from Ba Ria – Vung Tau and one “Truyen nghe” by Tam My from Binh Thuan. Besides, 7 photographers received consolidation prizes, out of whom, 3 are from Dong Nai including Huu Cuong, Dinh Hai and Lam Con
111 best photos were exhibited in Ba Ria- Vung Tau province where hosted the contest, out of which, 30 were taken by Dong Nai’s photographers. Dong Nai bagged the first prize for team while the second prize for team was presented to Lam Dong.
