Long Thanh named best golf course in Viet Nam

Long Thanh Golf Course in southern Dong Nai province has been named the country’s best, in a contest sponsored by Viet Nam Golf magazine and the Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism.

Da Lat Palace Golf Club was awarded the most beautiful moniker and Chi Linh Star Golf & Country the most challenging. Van Tri Golf can now boast best service.

The official vote for Viet Nam ’s Best Golf Course was launched in April and closed on October 30, with organisers distributing 91,000 ballots to local and expat golfers, who then returned them to the magazine by post and fax.

The votes were reported to a 13-member jury, which included representatives from Viet Nam National Administration for Tourism, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Viet Nam Golf Course Association.

An awards ceremony will be held at Long Thanh Golf Course in Long Thanh District on Dec.8.
