(ĐN)- On December 4, around 14,406 poor people in Xuan Loc district received health insurance cards worth a total of nearly VND12 billion. This is the first locality in the province to grant free health insurance cards for the poor. These cards, each worth VND80,000, entitles the holders to free medical care for one year.
In 2008, Dong Nai will issue around 200,000 health insurance cards to the poor throughout the province.
