Activities to mark the 61st anniversary of Vietnamese National Day

According to report from Bien Hoa city People’s Committee, a series of activities will be held in Bien City to mark the 61st anniversary of Vietnam’s National Day. Accordingly, a meeting will be organized in Dong Nai province’s Square by the City to review the significance of the August Revolution and National Day to Vietnam’s history and the great achievements of Bien Hoa in particular and Dong Nai in general during the past years. In addition, several significant activities will be arranged on this occasion. They are: to provide assistance to poor households and to take care of families-beneficiaries of special policies and merited persons, reflecting the tradition “When drinking water, remember its source” and “Paying debts of gratitude”, to encourage the public participation in environmental protection etc. Furthermore, activities of cultural exchanges will be also organized throughout the province in conjunction with celebration of the 60th anniversary of the D war zone. Especially, Dong Nai will host the Southeast Region Culture and Trade Fair over a week period from September 1-6 in the province’s square.
