(ĐN)- Recently, Member of PCC, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Dinh Thanh has visited flood victims in Dak Lua commune. According to the figures released by Dak Lua commune’s People’s Committee, nearly 900 houses in Dak Lua is being flooded with water, more than 50 poor households have no rice to eat. However, there have been no human losses thanks to the local authority has implemented strictly flood prevention measures. To present, one of the largest worries of the local official and people is that the epidemic diseases will attack the commune in the next time, the epidemic caused from using polluted water and animal.
After listening the report of the commune’s leaders and visiting some families in Mong Ngua resettlement area, Mr Tran Dinh Thanh has urged Dak Lua commune’s People’s Committee to provide rice, food, medicine for the local people, to establish facilities for preventing epidemic diseases, to ensure public order. He has also encouraged the commune’s officials to overcome current difficulties in order to complete their duties.
