(ĐN) - During 2 days in August 17-18, the Provincial Youth Union in coordination with the Dong Nai provincial library held the contest 2006 that encouraged children participation in telling stories and reciting poems in books. Contestants are students from local elementary schools and secondary schools in rural areas and city throughout the province.

(ĐN) - During 2 days in August 17-18, the Provincial Youth Union in coordination with the Dong Nai provincial library held the contest 2006 that encouraged children participation in telling stories and reciting poems in books. Contestants are students from local elementary schools and secondary schools in rural areas and city throughout the province. The contest content concentrated on our forefather’s tradition of nation-building and protection, famous culturists, history of the nation, heroes and martyrs in the past two war resistances, good examples in working and studying and so on.
The contest included 3 segments such as self-introduction, telling a story and reciting a poem and responding to test questions. Especially, contestant team was asked to perform a lively scene or extract from books for judging. The organizers awarded prizes to winners of the contest 2006 of telling stories and reciting poems in books for children on August 18.
