(ĐN)- Late last week, the delegation from General Department of People
’s Police under Ministry of Police in coordination with Dong Nai Radio and Television visited and offered gratitude and charity houses to a policy family and poor families in Chau Thanh district, An Giang province. The delegation was led by Deputy General Director of the People’s Police General Department, lieutenant-general Nguyen Viet ThanhThe delegation handed over a house of gratitude to a policy family in An Chau town, Chau Thanh district, offered 40 charity houses to poor families in the communes of Vinh Thanh, Hoa Binh and An Hoa in Chau Thanh district. On this occasion, the delegation has granted 50 school bags, 10 bicycles and 5,000 notebooks to poor students in that areas. Total expenditure was estimated at VND 370 million, donated by Kymdan Co., Long Thanh Golf Club, Hong Moc Enterprise (HCM city); besides, General Department of People’s Police and Dong Nai Radio and Television has mobilized resources from organizations, companies and individuals in the province and the neighbour provinces.
