(ĐN) – With the movement for the poor launched by the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, more than VND 8 billion has been raised for the poor in the first half of 2006 and over 1,000 poor households throughout the province have been assisted in building or repairing their homes.
(ĐN) – With the movement for the poor launched by the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, more than VND 8 billion has been raised for the poor in the first half of 2006 and over 1,000 poor households throughout the province have been assisted in building or repairing their homes. Besides, with donations raised from this year’s movement for the poor, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee granted 2,009 scholarships as well as presented 758 bicycles and wheelchairs to outstanding poor students and poor disabled students provincewide.
The Provincial Fatherland Front Committee continued to launch the second phase of this year’s movement for the poor (from May 19 till September 2) in order to mobilize the population for local poverty reduction programme.
