Provincial leaders congratulate Buddhist followers on Buddha’s birthday

(ĐN)- The Dong Nai authorities have congratulated dignitaries of the Dong Nai Buddhist Church, monks, nuns and Buddhist followers on the occasion of the 2550th birthday of Lord Buddha.

At the visit to Buddhist Churches of Dong Nai province by the provincial leaders on May 5, Head of the Mass Mobilization Department of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee Bui Ngoc Thanh praised the contributions made by the Buddhist Church to the province’s socio-economic development.

Venerable Thich Minh Chanh, Vice President of the Executive Board of the Dong Nai Buddhist Church thanked the authorities for their concern for and support of the Church. He also called on Most Venerables, venerables, monks and nuns and Buddhist followers in the province to continue contributing to the development of the province.
