“Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival”

(ĐN)- The first-ever coffee festival in Vietnam takes place from December 2-5 in Buon Me Thuot city, Dak Lak province . It is now attracting much attention of tourists. The festival is an opportunity for domestic coffee producers and traders to exchange experience, promote their brandnames, and seek business co-operation opportunities. Dak Lak will hold many cultural, art and sport activities during the festival to welcome the tourists. At the festival, the tourists can enjoy free coffee at many big cafés in the center of Buon Ma Thuot city. Dak Lak Tourism Joint Stock Company also will organize eating and drinking night in the evening of December 3 with 36 traditional dishes as com lam or bamboo-tube rice, Central Highlands’ wine, game meat, etc .

Besides, other tourism companies will also organize several tours to famous landscapes in Daklak. The tourists can tour Trinh Nu or D’ray Sap waterfall, an ideal tourism place with nice natural landscape, primeval forest. The waterfalls are 24 km far from Buon Ma Thuot city and convenient road. Lak lake with the width of more than 500 ha will attract the visitors who love natural scenery. They are able to ride elephants across Lak lake, visit ecological resort with valuable animals, look panorama of Lak Lake from the mountain and see Bao Dai King’s house. Coming to Ban Don resort, the tourists will have a chance to sit in a 100-year-old ancient house and talk with village patriarch Ama Kong who has trained 289 wild elephants, enjoy the natural landscape of Central Highlands’ mountains under Yok Don National Park and visit the ancient house of ‘elephant hunting king’ Khunjunob. Moreover, the tourists should not forget to enjoy coffee, visit coffee gardens, seeing performing coffee-processing model on large scale at Ea Nhaie lake.
