(ĐN) - To respond to the movement of “Day for the Poor” launched by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, Dong Nai province has constructed 8,057 charity houses for the poor worth more than VND 41 billion over the past five years. Currently, the number of localities that has accomplished the elimination of thatched cottages and dilapidated houses of the poor raises up to 36 in the
November 2005 from 24 in September of this year. From now until the end of 2005 and the beginning of 2006, additional 3 localities including Long Thanh, Nhon Trach districts and Bien Hoa city will be recognized that elimination of dilapidated housing of the poor is completed.Thuy Hang
