Long Thanh district provides free check and eye surgery to local poor people

(ĐN)- During two days from 24 to 25 November, the Long Thanh district’s Red Cross Chapter in coordination with HCM City’s Ophthalmology Hospital provided free eye check-ups to 300 local poor people.

(ĐN)- During two days from 24 to 25 November, the Long Thanh district’s Red Cross Chapter in coordination with HCM City’s Ophthalmology Hospital provided free eye check-ups to 300 local poor people. Almost 60 cataract people were tested with total expenses of about 6 million VND. This activity was funded by donations from local benefactors. These cataract people will receive free surgery on December 2, 2005.
