
(ĐN) - During 2 days in July 7-8, the Provincial Steering Board of summer activities held the contest 2005 entitled "Following in our forefathers footsteps” at the Province’s Library that encouraged children participation in telling stories and reciting poems in books.

During 2 days in July 7-8, the Provincial Steering Board of summer activities held the contest 2005 entitled
"Following in our forefather’s footsteps”
at the Province’s Library that encouraged children participation in telling stories and reciting poems in books. About 105 contestants came from rural areas and city throughout the province. The contest content concentrated on
our forefathers tradition of nation-building and protection, famous culturists, history of the nation, heroes and martyrs in the past two war resistances, good examples in working and studying and so on.
The contest included 3 segments such as self-introduction, telling a story and reciting a poem. Especially, contestant team was asked to perform a lively scene or extract from books for judging.
Today July 8, the contest ended and winners were awarded prizes by organizers.
