Enhancing data connectivity to Dong Nai City IOC

On August 20, Member of the Dong Nai City Party Committee’s Standing Board, Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee Le Truong Son chaired a meeting with relevant departments, agencies and units to review progress in connecting data to the Dong Nai City Intelligent Operations Center (IOC).

According to the Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology, the department has established a team responsible for operating, analyzing and utilizing the city’s IOC, with specific tasks assigned to each member to coordinate directly with designated contacts at departments, agencies and sectors. The city’s IOC has begun collecting, synchronizing and integrating data from departments, agencies and relevant units through several technical methods. These include direct automated connections via APIs (application programming interfaces) to specialized database management platforms and the reporting information system (LRIS).

The center also uses automated or semi-automated conversion tools (Tool Import) for data provided through standardized Excel spreadsheets and periodic reports. These tools are also used by units that are developing automated connection systems or embedding links to specialized software platforms that are currently being analyzed and coordinated for API integration.

Speaking at the meeting, Member of the Dong Nai City Party Committee’s Standing Board, Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee Le Truong Son emphasized that relevant departments, agencies and units must continue ensuring connectivity and providing all data needed to support management and administration, meeting the leadership and operational requirements of the municipal leadership. He also called for greater attention to be paid to resolving outstanding and emerging technical issues, while strengthening data connectivity in compliance with regulations and ensuring information security across sectors and fields, including finance, statistics, healthcare, agriculture and the environment.
