A delegation from the Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology (DoST), led by Deputy Director Vo Hoang Khai, took part in Techfest Hai Phong 2026. The event officially opened on August 4 at Vietnam Maritime University in Hai Phong City under the theme "Converging Intelligence – Advancing Innovation."

A highlight of this year's event is the exhibition area designed around the concept of the "The Journey through Five Technology Ports", comprising the Global Technology Port, National Technology Port, Innovation Port, Technology Heritage Port and Connectivity Port. The exhibition features 125 physical booths and 125 virtual exhibition booths, showcasing more than 1,000 innovative products across a wide range of sectors, including semiconductors, artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, green energy, digital transformation, advanced materials and products under the One Commune One Product (OCOP) programme.

The two-day event also includes a series of major activities, including the international innovation forum themed "From Ideas to Market"; the policy forum "Promoting Hai Phong's Innovation Ecosystem through Special Mechanisms"; the seminar "KIST–Hai Phong Technology Bridge: From Research to Practical Applications"; technology supply-demand matching sessions; innovation workforce networking events; and programmes promoting cooperation between businesses, research institutes and universities.

The event, held on August 4-5, has attracted a large number of domestic and international delegates, experts and scientists. This marks the ninth consecutive year that Techfest Hai Phong has been organised.
