Military Region 7 provides free medical checkups, medicines and gifts to Song Ray commune residents

On the morning of October 3, Military Region 7 organized a program offering free medical checkups, medicines and gifts to residents of Song Ray commune, Dong Nai City.

Attending the program were Colonel Nguyen Nhu Truc, Deputy Chief of the Political Department of Military Region 7; leaders of Military Region 7’s agencies; Colonel Nguyen Thanh Phong, Member of the Dong Nai City Party Committee and Political Commissar of the City Military Command; Nguyen Tat Do, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee of Dong Nai City; Luu Van Suu, Secretary of the Song Ray commune Party Committee, Chairman of the commune People’s Council; Phan Tan Tai, Deputy Secretary of the Song Ray commune Party Committee and Chairman of the commune People’s Committee; and other delegates.

Speaking at the program, Colonel Nguyen Trong Thai, Deputy Chief of the Logistics and Technical Department of Military Region 7, emphasized that free medical checkups, health consultations and the provision of medicines to residents form part of the military region’s grassroots-oriented mass mobilization program. The program was jointly organized by Military Region 7, Cong Ly Newspaper, the Dong Nai City Military Command, Division 302, Military Hospital 7B and the authorities of Song Ray commune.

He commended the enthusiastic and responsible participation of the officers and medical staff of Military Hospital 7B, and expressed his deep appreciation to the leadership of Song Ray commune and the relevant agencies, departments and sectors of Dong Nai City for their coordination in organizing the program.

The initiative provides practical healthcare support for residents, expresses gratitude to families whose members rendered meritorious service to the revolution, and reflects the grassroots-oriented activities of the armed forces of Military Region 7 and Dong Nai City. It also marks the 96th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Party’s Mass Mobilization Work (October 15, 1930–2026).

At the program, 200 residents of Song Ray commune received free medical checkups, health consultations and gifts worth VND500,000 each, including VND200,000 worth of medicines.
