In her speech, Chairwoman of the DNWU Le Thi Thanh Loan highlighted women’s contributions to Dong Nai’s development. Following the administrative restructuring and the introduction of the two-tier local government model, Women’s Union chapters at all levels quickly stabilized their operations, adopted new approaches to their work, strengthened grassroots engagement and provided practical support to members and women across the city.

Women’s Union chapters have actively implemented the movement “Building Vietnamese women in the new era” and the campaign “Dong Nai women speak kindly and act well,” while promoting the campaign to build families meeting the “five no’s, three cleans and three safeties” criteria. They have also stepped up digital transformation in their operations, enhanced members’ digital skills, supported women in starting businesses, fostering innovation and developing their livelihoods, and provided assistance to disadvantaged women and children. These efforts aim to promote family well-being and contribute to more civilized communities.

Addressing the gathering, Standing Deputy Secretary of the CPC Ton Ngoc Hanh congratulated Women’s Union officials, members and women across the city. She noted that women were an important force in Dong Nai’s development, given the city’s large population. The city’s leadership recognized the contributions of Women’s Union chapters and women entrepreneurs, expressing hope that women would continue to promote solidarity, demonstrate their capabilities and resilience, overcome challenges, pursue their aspirations and contribute to the city’s development.
