Chairman of Dong Nai People’s Committee visits revolutionary contributors

On July 22, a delegation from the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee of Dong Nai City, led by Nguyen Van Ut, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee (CPC) and Chairman of the City People's Committee, visited and presented gifts to families of revolutionary contributors in celebration of the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947–2026).

Joining the delegation were Major General Nguyen Duc Hai, Member of the CPC’s Standing Board and Director of the Dong Nai Public Security Department, and Nguyen Huu Dinh, Member of the CPC and Director of the Department of Home Affairs.

The delegation visited and presented gifts to Heroic Vietnamese Mother Ho Thi Vang in Tan Trieu ward; People's Armed Forces Heroes Pham Van Can in Tran Bien ward and Nguyen Thi Bang in Long Binh ward; as well as Nguyen Van An, a pre-August Revolution veteran residing in Tran Bien ward.

During the visits, Chairman Nguyen Van Ut and members of the delegation inquired about the health and living conditions of Heroic Vietnamese Mother Ho Thi Vang, People's Armed Forces Heroes Pham Van Can and Nguyen Thi Bang, pre-August Revolution veteran Nguyen Van An, and their family members. Ut expressed profound gratitude for the tremendous sacrifices and contributions made by the Heroic Vietnamese Mother, the People's Armed Forces Heroes and the pre-August Revolution veteran to the revolutionary cause and the struggle for national liberation.

He also expressed his hope that Mother Ho Thi Vang, along with Pham Van Can, Nguyen Thi Bang and Nguyen Van An, would continue upholding the revolutionary tradition and serve as role models for younger generations by encouraging them to observe the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws, while continuing to contribute to the development of their hometown.

Moved by the thoughtful care and attention from the CPC, People's Council, People's Committee and VFF Committee, Mother Ho Thi Vang, along with Pham Van Can, Nguyen Thi Bang and Nguyen Van An, expressed their sincere gratitude to the Party and local authorities at all levels for their continued support. They also voiced confidence that, with the unity and determination of the Party, armed forces and people, Dong Nai would continue achieving new breakthroughs in its development, becoming an increasingly civilized and modern city.
