With a determination to successfully complete the 500-day-and-night special emulation campaign, Dong Nai City’s leaders have stressed that the entire Party organization, government, local residents and the business community must act with the highest sense of urgency and efficiency to shorten implementation timelines while ensuring quality.

The outcomes achieved during the campaign's peak phases are expected to generate fresh momentum and play a decisive role in accelerating the realization of key commitments made by the municipal Party Committee’s leader to the Prime Minister. These commitments include continuing to reform development thinking, mobilizing all available resources for socio-economic development, achieving a 100-percent disbursement rate for public investment capital allocated to key projects, maintaining economic growth of 10 percent this year, sustaining growth above 10 percent throughout the current term and gradually moving toward a 12-percent growth target, while also exceeding assigned state budget revenue goals. At the same time, the city remains focused on ensuring social progress and equity, prioritizing investment resources for education and healthcare, and promoting rapid and sustainable development so that Dong Nai can emerge as one of the country's key growth poles.

Dong Nai remains confident in its ability to achieve the growth scenario set for this year despite the challenges that lie ahead. To that end, the entire political system and all segments of society are striving to adopt a broader and more comprehensive approach to addressing development issues.

Breakthrough solutions begin with personnel work. The city is strengthening the mobilization and rotation of officials from departments and agencies to communes and wards in order to ensure that guidelines, policies and development mechanisms are implemented effectively and deliver tangible results. Efforts to transform potential advantages and untapped opportunities into tangible development outcomes are being reinforced by increasingly solid foundations. Notably, Dong Nai recorded GRDP growth of 9.76 percent in the first quarter of 2026 compared with the same period last year, the highest growth rate among Southern localities.

Central leadership has highly valued the innovative and proactive approaches adopted by Dong Nai's leadership, viewing them as key factors behind the locality's impressive growth performance. Guided by a development-oriented mindset and a determination to innovate for the common good, the municipal leadership has introduced new and dynamic solutions to drive stronger development. Without the willingness to change traditional ways of thinking and working, improve administrative methods, enhance the effectiveness of the two-tier local government system, and proactively address long-standing bottlenecks and stalled projects, Dong Nai would have found it difficult to achieve such strong growth momentum.

As part of efforts to create new drivers of development, departments, sectors, localities and businesses are striving to complete outstanding tasks and fulfill all objectives of the 500-day-and-night emulation campaign. The spirit of emulation now serves as a powerful driving force, helping transform Dong Nai's aspirations and determination for breakthrough development into concrete results.

With a strong sense of responsibility for Dong Nai's role and mission in the country's overall development, the City Party Committee’s Standing Board has reaffirmed its determination to uphold the tradition of solidarity and unity, ensuring consistency and coordination throughout the political system. Accordingly, strategic directions outlined by Party General Secretary and State President To Lam and Prime Minister Le Minh Hung during recent working sessions with the locality will be swiftly translated into concrete action plans tied to the responsibilities of each sector and level of government.

The city remains firmly committed to the principle that what has been promised must be delivered and what has been committed to must be implemented, turning political determination into tangible development achievements.
