On April 27, the Provincial Party Standing Committee issued Plan No. 104-KH/TU on organizing the Ceremony to announce the National Assembly’s Resolution on the establishment of Dong Nai City. Earlier, the National Assembly had promulgated Resolution No. 30/2026/QH16 dated April 24, 2026, on the establishment of Dong Nai City, , which will take effect from April 30, 2026.

According to the plan of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the announcement ceremony is scheduled to take place on May 18, 2026, at Long Hung Ward Square, beginning at 8:00 p.m. on the same day and will be broadcast live on Vietnam Television and Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio, Television. Following the announcement ceremony will be an epic artistic program titled “Dong Nai – Heroic Spirit of the Southern Region, Rising with the Nation.”
On the same day, the Provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Information, Education and Mass Mobilization issued a directive to intensify propaganda work for a widespread political campaign throughout the Party, people, and armed forces in the province to celebrate the establishment of Dong Nai City; the document was sent to affiliated Party committees and departments, agencies, and sectors in the province to launch emulation movements; organize "gratitude" activities, cultural, artistic, sports activities to celebrate the establishment of Dong Nai City. Localities are guided to simultaneously respond by holding cultural and artistic activities on April 30, 2026, creating an atmosphere of emulation, excitement, and social consensus ahead the particularly important political event of the Party Committee, government, and people of the province.

Propaganda work is associated with activities celebrating the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - 2026) and the 136th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - 2026). At the same time, Party committees, agencies, and units at all levels are requested to promote propaganda and mobilize cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, soldiers, and people from all walks of life in the area to watch the live broadcast of the Ceremony announcing the National Assembly's Resolution on the establishment of Dong Nai City and the epic artistic program "Dong Nai - the Heroic Spirit of the Southern Region, Rising with the Nation" on the channels of Vietnam Television, Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio, Television. Party committees and localities are encouraged to arrange LED screens or large TV screens in public places to serve the people in the area to watch the live broadcast of the ceremony.
In addition, propaganda and mobilization are carried out among households in the area to hang the National flags in celebration of the event; to enhance urban beautification, ensuring a bright - green - clean - beautiful environment; and to strengthen visual propaganda through banners, posters, slogans, and the organization of decorative lighting along main roads, offices, public places, and cultural centers, thus creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere to celebrate the establishment of Dong Nai City.
