The visit aims to study China’s experience in modern urban planning, urban rail technology, railway industry supporting technologies, investment finance mechanisms and policies, as well as urban infrastructure development models integrated with metro transportation connectivity.

The working delegation expressed its appreciation for the notable achievements of Beijing in particular, and Chinese localities in general, in synchronizing urban planning and developing modern public transport systems. In particular, large-scale and efficiently operated metro networks have helped ease traffic congestion, protect the environment and improve the quality of life.

These experiences are considered highly valuable for Dong Nai as the province is accelerating the development of strategic transport infrastructure while moving toward building a modern urban system. Through the working session, the Dong Nai’s working delegation also expressed its hope to continue receiving support, connections and guidance from the embassy, thereby paving the way for expanded cooperation between Dong Nai province and potential partners in China.
