Over March 22–23, at Hoang Dieu Border Guard Station in Hung Phuoc commune, the Dong Nai Provincial Youth Union (DYU), in coordination with the Provincial Vietnam Youth Federation (DYF), organized the 2026 Border March program.

Phan The Cong, Deputy Secretary of the DYU and Chairman of the DYF, described the Border March program as one of Dong Nai youth’s key activities with profound political and social significance. Through the program, the organizers aim to express gratitude to officers and soldiers of the armed forces, particularly border guards, who steadfastly safeguard the nation’s sovereignty.

Furthermore, the program serves to promote patriotism, national pride and a sense of responsibility among youth in contributing to national construction and defense, especially in firmly protecting the country’s territorial integrity.
On this occasion, Phan The Cong, Deputy Secretary of the DYU and Chairman of the DYF, also called on young people to demonstrate their patriotism through concrete actions, joining hands with border forces in safeguarding the nation’s frontier.

Within the framework of the program, the DYU and the DYF coordinated with Hoang Dieu Border Guard Station to organize a flag-raising ceremony at border marker 65(2), inaugurate a youth flag road, and launch the “Lighting up border areas” project.
In addition, DYU members, DYF members and young people in Hung Phuoc commune joined the officers and soldiers from Hoang Dieu Border Guard station and neighboring Border Guard stations in cultural and sports exchanges and tug-of-war games. The DYU presented 30 gift packages to border guard soldiers along with DYU members, DYF members and young people facing difficult circumstances in the locality.

Earlier, activities for children were held by DYU in coordination with DYF, at Phuoc Thien Primary and Secondary School in Hung Phuoc commune. The students joined an ensemble performance under the “Healthy Children’s Day – Towards the Youth Union” event, along with games, knowledge contests and drawing activities, while also receiving guidance on child protection and injury prevention. The organizers also awarded 10 scholarships to disadvantaged students with good academic performance.
