Dong Nai Youth Union honors 30 outstanding young Party members

On the afternoon of March 26, the Standing Committee of the Dong Nai Youth Union held a ceremony marking the 95th anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 – 2026) and honoring outstanding young Party members in 2026.

Attending the event were Member of the PPC and Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Thi Hoang; former leaders of the DYU across different periods; members of the Standing Committee and Executive Committee of the DYU; as well as secretaries and deputy secretaries of affiliated grassroots Youth Union units.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Secretary of the DYU and President of the DYF Phan The Cong affirmed that throughout different historical periods, under the leadership of the Party, generations of Vietnamese youth have consistently upheld patriotism, dynamism and creativity, remaining undeterred by hardships and always ready to devote their youth to the cause of national liberation, construction and defense.

Alongside the nation, generations of Dong Nai youth, with courage, resilience and deep patriotism, have made significant contributions to the country’s victories, laying a solid foundation for the province’s development. Today’s youth pay tribute to previous generations who dedicated their youth to the revolutionary cause and built the Youth Union’s proud tradition.

As the country enters a new stage of development, each youth union member is expected to continue studying, enhancing their qualifications and mastering science and technology. In addition, they are encouraged to foster innovation, adapt to digital transformation and international integration, and further promote the pioneering spirit, creativity and ambition to contribute to national construction and defense.

At the event, the Provincial Youth Union honored 30 outstanding young Party members of Dong Nai in 2026. On behalf of the Standing Committee of the DYU, Phan The Cong commended their efforts and achievements, while expressing hope that they will continue to uphold revolutionary ideals, pursue self-improvement and contribute more actively to their localities and organizations.

Within the program, Youth Union officials, members and young people had the opportunity to engage in exchanges and listen to former Youth Union leaders share personal stories, memories and experiences from their involvement in youth work and movements through a panel discussion titled “Proud of tradition – Stepping into the future.” The session also served as an occasion for former Youth Union officials to convey their trust and expectations, while today’s youth reaffirmed their commitment to carrying forward the 95-year tradition of the Youth Union.
