Notably, the voter turnout rate across the province reached 99.62%. Dong Nai province had six electoral units for NA deputies with 30 candidates (including eight introduced by the Central Government), competing for 18 seats. All 18 elected deputies met the required standards, ensured proper structure, and received high levels of voter confidence, with approval rates ranging from 71.46% to 94.77%. This demonstrated the trust of the voters. At the provincial level, Dong Nai had 28 electoral units for provincial People’s Council deputies, with 142 candidates running for 85 seats. All 85 elected deputies were validly elected and met structural requirements, with approval rates ranging from 68.9% to 96.98%. At the commune level, the province had 651 electoral units with 3,695 candidates, of whom 2,211 were elected to the commune-level People’s Councils.

The province recorded no localities requiring re-elections due to low voter turnout, nor any instances of additional elections or annulled results due to violations. Communication activities were effectively implemented, fostering a democratic and vibrant atmosphere among the people. Security and public order were well maintained, with no emerging hotspots or complex complaints.
Ton Ngoc Hanh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the PPC, and Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Council, emphasized that the high levels of voter confidence in the elected deputies reflected careful and objective choices by the electorate, as well as the expectations of the voters and residents, while affirming the quality of the preparation and organization of the election in the province.

However, Hanh also pointed out several limitations that require attention, including a very small proportion of voters who did not participate in voting and two localities where the number of elected deputies met targets but did not fully comply with structural requirements, although these cases did not necessitate additional elections under current regulations. In addition, the management of voter data through software and the capacity of some grassroots election team members to handle situations still showed certain shortcomings.
