(ĐN)- The whirlwind, accompanied by heavy rains, hit Ngo Quyen hamlet, Bau Ham 2 commune, Thong Nhat district of Dong Nai province on the afternoon of May 31. The strong winds were responsible for destroying totally 7 houses and ruining 9 others in the locality. It also caused damages to tens of fruit trees, mainly rambutan, durian… Local authorities has provided assistance to the affected families to help them stablise their lives.
