(ĐN)- The Dong Nai Provincial Department of Statistics on Friday held a conference to honor typical units and individuals who achieve outstanding results in patriotic emulation movements in the period of 2006-2010.
Over the past five years, the Department has fulfilled all assigned tasks, especially implementing sucessfully large-scale censuses and surveys such as the 2006 rural, agriculture and fishery Census, the 2009 Population and Housing Census …The Department has fulfilled the annual tasks and its efforts have been recognized with many certificates of merit from ministries, agencies and local authorities.
At the conference, 10 units and 17 individuals were honored and awarded with certificates of merit for their outstanding results in patriotic emulation movements in the 2006-2010 period.
On the same day, Dong Nai provincial Farmers’ Association also organized a conference to honor typical units and individuals who had actively participated in patriotic emulation movements in the period of 2005-2010.
Over the past five years, the movement of good farmers in production and business received great response from local farmers and it played an important role in promoting the development of household and farm economy, cooperative economy. More than 80,000 farm households in the province were honored every year for their outstanding achievements in production and business. So far, the province has set up 435 high-productivity clubs, 163 cooperative groups, 4 club unions and 206 cooperatives. During the period, members of the Association contributed over VND65 billion and almost 160,000 working days to upgrade and build more than 1,500 km of rural roads and 4,000 charity houses…
On this occasion, over 100 collectives and individuals were honored and awarded certificates of merit for their contributions.
