The area of natural forests is more than 13,000 ha and area of created forests is around 16,000 ha. Areas in Dong Nai with high forest cover are districts of Vinh Cuu (nearly 60 per cent), Tan Phu (nearly 52 per cent) and Dinh Quan (over 35 per cent). The province aims to increase its forest coverage to around 30 per cent in 2010.
