(ĐN)- Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee Tran Van Vinh called for speeding up construction of new Hoa An bridge in Bien Hoa city at a meeting with relevant agencies held on March 1. The existing bridge cannot meet current demand and it does not adequately serve current volume. Traffic jams often occur on the existing bridge during peak hours. Vice Chairman Tran Van Vinh stated that it would be necessary to replace the existing bridge with a new one to meet increasing traffic demands. There was a delay in carrying out the project due to legal procedures.
New Hoa An project will be carried out under the BT (build-transfer) form with a total investment of around VND 900 billion. The new bridge will have a width of 16.5 meters, and a length of more than 1,306 meters.
