(ĐN)- Dong Nai will spend around VND2.3 billion to provide vocational training to discharged soldiers, according to the province’s Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs’ Vocational Training Office. In the first phase, the province plans to train 114 beneficiaries with a total estimated cost of VND590 million.
The number of discharged soldiers participating in vocational training courses is more and more increasing. Presently, the Vocational Training College No. 8 is training about 1,500 discharged soldiers, 7 times higher than that of the previous year.
In 2009, Dong Nai spent VND2.1 billion to offer vocational training to around 700 discharged soldiers.
