(ĐN)- Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Vo Van Mot yesterday hosted leaders of Guilin Daewoo Bus Co., Ltd.

Representatives of Guilin Daewoo Bus Company introduced the advantages of CNG buses as lower emissions and lower fuel cost compared to equivalent diesel buses to Dong Nai province’s leaders. They also expressed their desire to expand cooperation with Dong Nai’s transport companies. There is clearly enormous potential for the transport sector growth in Dong Nai with the forecasted number of passengers of nearly 2 million per day while local public transport sector only meets 10 per cent of the transport demand.
Chairman Vo Van Mot said that Dong Nai wants to use environment-friendly fuels, such as natural gas. Mot also asked Guilin Daewoo Bus Company to discuss further details with local relevant agencies.
