(ĐN)- The Saigon Newport Company, a branch of the Ministry of Defense, last week opened its third inland clearance depot (ICD) in Long Binh ward, Bien Hoa city with a total investment of US$60 million.
(ĐN)- The Saigon Newport Company, a branch of the Ministry of Defense, last week opened its third inland clearance depot (ICD) in Long Binh ward, Bien Hoa city with a total investment of US$60 million. Also present at the launching ceremony were Standing Deputy Secretary of the Dong Nai provincial Party Committee Le Hong Phuong and Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Tran van Vinh and Commander-in-Chief of the Viet Nam Peoples Navy Nguyen Van Hieu.

Spanning over 80 hectares, the new ICD will be able to accommodate 10 million tons of goods a year, and will comprise three main areas including warehouses, offices, a container yard and custom building area. Long Binh ICD will become the first place in the country to apply for electronic customs clearance.
